The Serre Park area encompasses the naturalistic, cultural, historical and anthropological values that characterise this part of Calabria. The park’s territory includes typical, pure and mixed fir and spruce fir forests, larch pine forests, beech forests, chestnut forests, poplar forests, oak forests and the Lake Angitola oasis, recognised as a wetland of international value.
